"The 2011 Vino Nobile displays all the attractive features of a warm vintage, favouring intense, red fruit aromas and a warm, enveloping drinking experience.
We were able to harvest ripe, fragrant grapes thanks to the healthy growing environment in our vineyards, where the use of secondary crop under the vines and the distribution of biodynamic preparations have generated a loose, airy soil and strong, vigorous vines which were able to dig their roots deep into the soil to reach the lower deposits of water in the earth and reduce hydric stress.
We picked our Sangiovese between September 20th and October 5th and we were so happy with the quality potential that we decided the 2011 vintage would be perfect for reintroducing our icon Nobile “Grandi Annate”. Look out for this wine in 2015, but for now enjoy our Vino Nobile vintage 2011 - a genuine, terroir driven Sangiovese from Montepulciano."

An opulent style, featuring black cherry, plum, earth and spice flavors. Full and complex, with fine balance and a lingering aftertaste of tobacco and spice. Best from 2015 through 2024.-B.S.

Guida Oro - I Vini di Veronelli 2015

Aromas of underbrush, red berry, cooking spice and Mediterranean brush lead the nose on htis structure, polished wine. The firm palate delivers wild cherry, tobacco, savory herb, white pepper and a balsamic note alongside supple tannins. Enjoy through 2018 - Kerin O'Keefe

The 2011 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is clearly a step up. Former vintages contained percentages of various red
grapes but this is now 100% Sangiovese. Medium ruby in color, the ripe dusty berry notes on the nose and palate are very enticing. Lovely balance. Juicy and fresh on the palate with flowers, earth and tobacco leaf notes adding some complexity. Good value.
