Il Marzocco shows a rich, golden colour. The bouquet first reveals elegant scents of gardenia, followed by fresh aromas of citron, pineapple and lemon peel. The taste is round and enveloping with a long, fragrant, flinty finish

"We harvested the grapes for the 2013 Il Marzocco on September fourth and fifth. The Chardonnay comes from the Pian dell'Oca vineyard of La Selva estate, a vineyard which has always given us a fragrant, intensely flavoured Chardonnay, perfect for a barrel-aged white wine."
