Join our winery chef for an exclusive cooking class
and learn how to prepare a delicious, genuine Tuscan meal.

Immerse yourself in the world of Tuscan cuisine and learn about our wines through the local cuisine.

Learn how to make typical savoury dishes such as “pici” (handmade pasta, Montepulciano style), Tuscan “sugo all'aglione” (tomato garlic sauce), pecorino flan with swiss chard puree, “torta della nonna” or many other dishes. Enjoy a glass of wine while you're cooking!

Our exclusive cookery classes are available from Monday to Friday and are taught by one of our own winery chefs.

They are designed for 4-10 guests, but single individuals or couples should contact us to check availability.

We privilege organic ingredients and seasonal produce. Many vegetables and fruits come from our own synergistic garden.

Reservations are required.

Cooking Class Programme

9:30 am
Arrival at Avignonesi for your cooking class guided by an Avignonesi chef.

Each participant will receive a luxury gift bag comprised of an Avignonesi apron, cork screw, drop stop and recipe collection.

After a visit to the synergistic garden to collect the produce for cooking, our chef will teach you how to make a complete Tuscan menu with a "primo" (pasta dish), "secondo" (entrée) and a "dolce " (dessert).

After the lesson, you will enjoy a tour of our vineyards, the ageing cellars and the Vinsantaia, concluding with a four-course wine-paired gourmet meal in our elegant and panoramic Foresteria. Most of the year the lunch will be served on our panoramic terrace. Should the weather not permit eating outside, we will serve lunch in our cozy indoor dining room.

Only our top wines will be poured during the lunch:

Il Marzocco Chardonnay Toscana IGT
La Tonda Sangiovese Toscana IGT

Grandi Annate Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG
Desiderio Merlot Toscana IGT
Grifi Sangiovese - Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT
